BACKGROUND: Paula was referred to the Blende Dental Group by a family-member, who is a dentist, when she was no longer able to cooperate for dental work in the traditional office setting. Rather than remove all of Paula’s teeth, her family chose to preserve her teeth and maintain her ability to enjoy food.

Constant, audible bruxism with significant attrition
Localized moderate chronic periodontitis
Dental caries
Multiple non-restorable teeth

TREATMENT DETAILS: Metal occlusals / incisals were features that were designed into the crowns and bridges to preserve the restorations despite Paula’s constant bruxism. The work was completed in two visits (preparations and seats) under general anesthesia at California Pacific Medical Center.
